Wood Outdoor Play Sets Safe Outdoor Play Surface?

Safe outdoor play surface? - wood outdoor play sets

I bought a wooden toy - advance slides, etc. What is the best surface to bear? My neighbor has his chips in wood, but they have problems with them on a bathroom. I am not in the sand and messy and not very crowded interested. Rubber mats look great, but cost more than the bottom ... Ideas?
